Many things about me are like the hidden levels in a video game—plenty of people don’t know about them, even those you'd think would be my ride-or-dies. It’s not that I locked myself in an emotional fortress; it’s more like I was waiting for someone to send a smoke signal or a pizza—anything really! So, in my bewilderment, I started mixing up friends and foes like it was some bizarre game of musical chairs, and honestly, teaching people about myself felt like trying to explain quantum physics to a cat. So, I decided to let a lot of things slide, like clearing up ridiculous rumors about myself that were as true as Bigfoot being my neighbor. Surprise, surprise—that led to me being a one-person party.
